Timeshare/Visitation

Timeshare is the time period that a child spends with a custodian. The court determines what this arrangement is by evaluating a child's best interests. Currently, the presumption is parents will enjoy equal timeshare. This presumption can be overcome or may not be applicable, depending on the parties' circumstances. Timeshare is modifiable until a child emancipates: it may need to have a different schedule at different stages of the child's life or even during certain times of year, depending on the needs of the parents and of the child.
