From 1999-2002, Catherine served as an Assistant Public Advocate for the Department of Public Advocacy. There she represented adults and children on felony, misdemeanor and status offenses and honed her trial skills through practice and the DPA training, including week-long trial institutes.
Catherine graduated from the University of Kentucky with a JD (1998), BS Agriculture (Natural Resources Conservation and Management curriculum) (1995) and BA, Honors Program (1992).
Outside of her work as a divorce attorney and family lawyer, Catherine enjoys spending time and making a home with her husband and step-son. She is actively involved with Scout Troop 118 in Madison County. For recreation, she enjoys rock climbing, hiking, snow skiing and quilting.
