Never Married Parents/ paternity cases

A paternity case is used to determine the parentage of a child and to establish child support. The case can be brought by a man who wants a determination of whether he is the father of a child or to affirm that a child is his. The case can also be brought by the mother of the child to determine or to affirm who is the father of the child.

The paternity case can result in an order of child support but does not determine custody or timeshare with the child. All of these - paternity, child support, custody and timeshare, can be addressed is separate cases or a consolidated case.

The experienced counsel of Monzingo Law Office can help a biological father maximize his ability to be the father he wants to be and can help a mother obtain the financial support from the father that the child needs.
