Paternity/Never Married Parents

A paternity case can be brought by a man who wants a determination of whether he is the father of a child. This action can result in a child support action but does not determine custody or timeshare with the child. If the father wants to establish custody and timeshare, he needs to bring an action for paternity, custody and timeshare. The court can order a paternity test to confirm he is  the child's father. Having experienced counsel's representation can help a biological father maximize his ability to be the actual father he wants to be.
